FERROVIAL’S NEW AI ASSISTANT TO WRITE MESSAGES AND ANALYSE DOCUMENTS FOR ITS EMPLOYEES
Contractor Ferrovial has launched a new generative artificial intelligence (AI) assistant for its employees, in what it claimed was a first for an infrastructure company.
The tool, developed in partnership with Microsoft, aims to assist employees with their day-to-day work and increase efficiency and competitiveness.
Employees will be able to use the tool to write texts, analyse information, and summarize and translate documents.
But Ferrovial insisted that the system, based on Microsoft Azure Open AI Services, would keep sensitive company information private, since it has been designed to work in a
secure data environment.
Ferrovial said it hoped that, in the future, the system could be trained with information from the company’s business units.
As the tool is deployed, new features, such as text analysis, can be added to adapt more closely to employees’ needs, it said.
