Where is it? Frankfurt, Germany

When will it be completed? 2024

Did you know? There will be a total of four skyscrapers

Frankfurt’s highest residential and office floors are being built within four highrise buildings. The buildings that will make up FOUR Frankfurt are estimated to reach heights of up to 233m and will feature 600 new apartments, plus a base construction with various shopping and dining facilities.

Based on a proposal submitted by architect UN Studio in Amsterdam, the project incorporates the heritage-listed façades on Junghofstraße, in addition to opening the site up to the city.

Construction management specialist IGP Ingenieur is working with the developer Groß & Partner to implement a tight construction schedule.

“We are very grateful that we have the opportunity to develop such an exciting and versatile project in our hometown,” says Jürgen Groß, owner and CEO of the project developer.

Construction work began on the foundation in 2021 with completion of the skyscrapers planned for 2024. The current project names of the four individual high-rise buildings of FOUR Frankfurt are T1, T2, T3, and T4.

“We look forward to having our fellow citizens partake in the vision for this place soon. We are convinced that this project will be an enrichment for the inner city and the whole of Frankfurt.

“There will be no comparable situation in any other German city, and the project will also attract international attention” added Jürgen Groß.

In 2021 Allianz AG and the Bavarian Supply Chamber bought T1 of the FOUR Frankfurt project for €1.4 billion (US$1.525 billion), making the skyscraper the most expensive single building ever sold in Germany.
