BAUMA’S BACK WHAT HAPPENED?
The world’s largest trade show, Bauma Munich, is returning to its traditional April time slot with the show taking place from April 7-13 in Munich, Germany. The show is fully booked, with approximately 3,500 exhibitors from 57 countries and expected visitor numbers of around 550,000 people. The event is expected to be more international than ever, with more exhibitors from Asia than before.
During the Covid pandemic live shows either cancelled, postponed or went online; there was a feeling that in-person shows might never come back to the level that they had been before the pandemic. That is now no longer the case with lots of shows – such as Intermat, World of Concrete, Hillhead, and others – reporting strong visitor numbers when they held their events, indicating a renewed demand for in-person events.
