Preperations for the show are ongoing
The waiting is almost over. Bauma Munich, the biggest trade show in the world by exhibition space, returns to its traditional April-time slot to welcome the great and the good of the world’s construction industry to showcase their latest products, service, technologies and power systems. This showguide runs through a selection of the 3,500 exhibitors that will be in attendance, as well as an exclusive interview with Stefan Rummel, joint CEO of Messe München.
Ammann
Hall/Stand: FS.910
Ammann will highlight its focus on sustainable technology, safety, and digital solutions for roadbuilding and compaction.
The machines on display include electricdrive options, autonomous capabilities, and integrated fleet management tools, the company said.
One of the main exhibits will be the eABG 4820 Electric-Drive Paver, which offers a maximum paving width of 6.5m and a paving output of 500 tonnes per hour. Powered by a lithium-ion battery, the paver can operate for an entire shift on a single charge. The paver features a 12.7 tonne hopper capacity and a maximum paving speed of 20m per minute. In the compaction segment, Ammann will introduce the eAPH 70/95 Hydrostatic Vibratory Plate Compactor. With a weight of 750kg the electric-driven plate compactor is designed for indoor and highly regulated job sites.
For heavier compaction tasks, Ammann is introducing the eARX 26-2Light Tandem Roller, featuring a fully electric drive.

Bauer

Bauer will be showcasing its latest generation of drilling and anchor rigs, cutter and diaphragm wall equipment, pile driving and mixing technology. One of the pieces of equipment on show will be the drilling rig BG 55. This is the largest drilling rig at the stand, featuring V-kinematics that offer a high level of rigidity for difficult applications.
Since late 2024, the Bauer BCS 185 power pack cutter system has demonstrated its performance capacity on the Grand Paris Express project. This unit is based on the established BCS 185 cutter system, yet features a modular drive concept. Instead of a permanently installed motor, an electric or diesel power pack can be used as required. Thanks to this flexibility, it is possible to operate the system either locally and emissionfree with electric power, or conventionally with diesel. This will be on display at the stand, along with the eRG 21 T hybrid from RTG Rammtechnik which has an innovative drive that combines the power of a 430kW diesel engine and the precision of an electric motor with up to 88kW of extra power.

Bobcat
Hall/Stand: FN.816
Bauma will provide a platform for Bobcat to host the world premiere of its new one and two tonne mini excavator range after three years of development.
The company said the new range, comprising the E16, E17z, E19, and E20z mini excavators, will provide better output and smoother operation, while the addition of a new powertrain usually found in larger units is also a key feature.
Powered by a Kubota diesel engine, the range is designed for EMEA and is expected to be available in those regions later this year.
Meanwhile, the company will also show a new version of its 9-tonne E88 mini excavator. The new version of the 9-tonne E88 mini excavator offers an operating weight of 8,890kg, a digging force of 67,302N, and a maximum reach of 7.2m.
Case Construction

Case Construction Equipment will present a wide range of advanced solutions, with a focus on alternative fuels, automation and connectivity.
The OEM says it will demonstrate its comprehensive range of equipment, designed to meet the evolving needs of operators and fleet managers across Europe.
The stand will focus on new wheeled loaders, mini excavators, backhoe loaders, crawler excavators and an expanding offering of electric models. These machines, designed for applications ranging from urban construction to waste management, quarrying, and road construction, are engineered to deliver operational efficiency, minimised operating costs and reduced environmental impact. Case will also show two customised machines, examples of its new Special Application Division.
Caterpillar
Hall/Stand: B6.308
Covering over 9,000m2 , Caterpillar’s stand will feature 48 machines, including 17 new introductions or upgrades.
On display will be three recently introduced Next Generation Compact Track Loaders, offering upgrades in engine power and torque, lift and tilt breakout forces, stability, operator comfort and technology.
The new D8 dozer will be featured, based on the Next Generation platform, as well as a first appearance for the 140 AWD Next Generation Motor Grader.
Further introductions to the Demolition, Waste Handling and Recycling portfolios include the new 330 UHD Ultra High Demolition Hydraulic Excavator. Standard features include a Stability Monitoring System with light and sound indicators in the cab, Cat Payload and Cat Grade Control with 2D.
Cummins
Hall/Stand: A4.338
Cummins will premiere the new X15 Next Generation, the latest addition to its range of HELM fuel agnostic engines. ‘HELM’ loosely stands for ‘high efficiency, lower emissions.’ Based on an all-new platform, the X15 Next Generation will be presented at Bauma as a diesel engine, but using different heads for each fuel also supports using natural gas or hydrogen. Diesel variants will be capable of using HVO to achieve carbon-neutral operation.
The new engine will directly replace the existing X15. But while it will deliver a 15% increase in power, the new platform will have a footprint comparable to a smaller 13-litre model.
The X15 Next Generation will offer the same mounting points whether set up to use diesel, natural gas or hydrogen. This will allow machine OEMs to install any variant without having to reconfigure the engine bay.
Develon

Develon, formerly known as Doosan Construction Equipment, will show its latest development in autonomous machinery.
Following on from the Concept-X(2019) and Concept-X2 (2023), the company will unveil ‘Real X’, described as ‘the next level in autonomous working’. The crawler excavator can complete a range of tasks operating autonomously, including trenching, truck loading and earthworks.
The OEM will also show its new Smart Around View Monitoring system. Using AI-based detection, the function provides a 360-degree view around the machine, helping to make the area safer for workers.
Caterpillar will showcase many of its technologies
Looking at electric drives, Develon will present the new DX23E-7. Due to be available later in 2025, this machine features a 32 kWh/40 kWh li-ion battery. It is intended for work in areas with noise level restrictions and can also be used over a night shift.
While it is still under development, the company will also display its BE zero-emission 14-tonne wheeled excavator.

Doka

At Bauma 2025, Doka will showcase more than 40 products and solutions. The company’s focus will span automation, robotics, digital solutions and climate-friendly concrete advancements at its booth.
To boost the spread of new, climate-friendly concrete mixes, Doka has developed an intelligent heated formwork prototype.
Within the ‘Smart Construction Area’ Doka will present a new method for constructing concrete walls: Doka LeanForm. The central pre-assembly platform allows complete formwork units to be assembled at a safe, controlled workstation, before being lifted into place by a crane.
After making its prototype debut at the last show, the DokaXbot Lift has been completely reengineered for Bauma 2025 and will be showcased in the outdoor area and as part of the live shows on the main hall. To further automate formwork solutions, Doka will introduce the next-generation drive system Doka FormDrive. The heart of the system is a mobile control unit for lifting the climbing system and steering all movements of the wall formwork, reducing manual workload while increasing safety and productivity.
Fayat Group

At Bauma 2025, Fayat’s brands – Bomag, Dynapac, Ermont, Marini, SAE, Secmair, Dulevo, and Scarab – will highlight a global approach to road construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation.

Fayat Road Equipment’s brands will present the latest developments and solutions in line with the low-carbon transition, safety industry stringent demands, the ongoing digitalisation and support requirements of the road construction sector.
The Fayat Road Equipment division serves every stage of the road lifecycle, offering solutions in asphalt production, application, compaction, road maintenance, sweeping, cold milling, stabilisation and recycling. At the show Fayat will present more than 150 products, 31 innovations and 16 world premieres.
These premieres include Bomag’s Emergency Brake Assist, Dynapac’s SD/XD series electric pavers, the Marini SMART Plant and EvoDryer Plus, Secmair Top Spayer and Reinforced Insulation, the Dulevo D6 Veloce and Scarab Magnum 82 SV.
Hexagon will display its portfolio of construction technology brands
Hexagon

Hexagon will display its portfolio of construction technology brands, including Leica Geosystems, AGTEK, Xwatch, Bricsys and OxBlue.
These brands provide end-to-end solutions that connect office and field applications, enabling construction professionals to leverage digital twins, automation and AI to provide actionable, data-driven insights to improve decision-making.
Key portfolio highlights include machine control technology for excavators, pavers and more, offering real-time data flow between the office and the field for more efficient operations.
Hidromek
Hall/Stand: FN918/1
Turkey-based Hidromek will exhibit 22 products, including new machines, at its 2,176m2 stand at Bauma 2025.
The OEM says it will exhibit a new model in its excavator product group. It will also be showing demolition machines, an excavator with the highest tonnage that the OEM produces, new midi excavators, electric and hybrid machines, as well as the model with the highest tonnage in its motor grader product group for the first time.
In addition to all of this, a new product class will be launched at Bauma 2025.
Hitachi CM
Hall/Stand: FN.716
Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) will display more than 30 machines ranging from one to 120 tonnes as well as its products and services at Bauma 2025, with several developments making a worldwide debut.
The equipment will be on display at the 4,000m2 stand and will include the manufacturer’s growing line-up of electric machines, from 1.7 to 14 tonnes.
Seven mini and compact excavators (one to nine tonnes) will be presented, of which several are equipped with two-piece booms to highlight their added versatility. In addition, a selection of Zaxis-7models will be exhibited in Europe for the first time.
Also making their first appearances are three models in the medium crawler category.
Hyundai CE
Hall/Stand: FM.913
In total, the South Korea-based company will have up to 18 machines on display. Of those, ten will be either all-new or feature new updates.
Included in that lineup is a pre-production version of the HW155H, a 15-tonne wheeled excavator which is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell system. At Bauma 2022 this was a static model, but at this year’s event the machine will be working in the demonstration area.
The fuel cell delivers between 70-100kW of power which is sent to the electric drive motors and the electrically-driven hydraulic pumps. Onboard fuel H2 fuel capacity supports up to eight hours of continuous operation, while refuelling takes about 20 minutes.
Also at Bauma, Hyundai CE will present the HD130A, the company’s first entry into the dozer market. The mid-weight model is described as delivering best-in-class power in combination with superior tractive effort, precise grading performance and a range of smart technologies.
Komatsu
Hall/Stand: FM.713/1
Komatsu will showcase 34 machines and 13 premieres at its 7,500m2 of exhibition area.
Among the 13 premieres is the all-new, PC220LCi-12 excavator. The OEM says that the excavator offers customers new and unique, iMC 3.0 features. The machine benefits from a completely new cab design focused on maximising operator comfort, and seamless connectivity solutions make digital jobsite transformation even easier.

Hidromek says it will unveil a new product at the show
The OEM will also present its new WA700 wheeled loader. The new model is said to deliver what the company says are ‘unparalleled levels of safety, productivity, durability and environmental credentials.’
The WA700-8 features a 578kW engine from Komatsu.

Kubota

Kubota will show 22 machines on its stand, including a battery electric retrofit kit for two of its most popular mini excavators, the KX194e and U27-4e.
The manufacturer said it recognises the cost issue in buying battery electric machines and is offering the retrofit kit as a less expensive option, although pricing for the kit has still to be confirmed.
The kit – which can be fitted by a dealer in one day – will be available to buy after Bauma. The system comprises an 18kW battery for the 19-4model and a 20kW unit for the U27. The diesel engine and fuel lines are removed and the battery pack and electric motor installed to power the transmission and hydraulics.
Also on the stand will be the electric KX38 first seen as a prototype at Bauma 2022.
Liebherr
Hall/Stand: FM.810-813
Liebherr’s 14,000m2 outdoor and indoor exhibition areas at Bauma will highlight 70 products spanning autonomous technology, hydrogen and battery powered equipment and world exclusive launches in excavators, mobile and crawler cranes, foundation machines and telehandlers.
In the battery driven segment, it will show the autonomous T 264 mining truck, the result of a cooperation with Australian mining customer Fortescue.
Other battery powered products will include a new version of the Liduro Power Port (LPO) mobile energy storage system and a prototype stationary energy storage system, the LPO 600. In earthmoving and material handling, Liebherr will give the world premiere to the T 38-7s telehandler, the first of its new 'generation 6' handlers up to 4.2 tonnes. It will also enter the 8m reach class with the T 48-8s.
Visitors will see the world launch of an autonomous wheel loader, which will be demonstrated live at the show. The completely driverless loader uses the internally developed ‘Liebherr Autonomous Operations’ system, which the OEM said was at “an advanced stage of development.”
For remote control, there will be the European premiere of a crawler dozer using the Liebherr Remote Control System (LiReCon). This technology will be shown on the new PR 776 G8 70-tonne dozer.

Liugong Europe

LiuGong Europe says its plan at Bauma is to ‘challenge industry perceptions around battery electric vehicles and advanced technology adoption.’
The company has made some ‘intense’ investment in developing its sustainable technologies and intelligent equipment, which has resulted in an electric portfolio which now incorporates 12 product lines and more than 40 models.
New to the lineup is the T-Series wheeled loader range. Visitors to the LiuGong stand will be able to see the first seven machines in the range.
These machines will be joined on the standby the 4280DE 24-tonne motor grader. This battery-electric model will be one of the 13 in total available to view.
Peri
Hall/Stand: FN.718
Peri says that it will showcase a suite of innovations aimed at revolutionising construction safety, efficiency and sustainability. Visitors to the company’s exhibit will see solutions that span residential, infrastructure and digital solutions, promising advancements across a wide range of projects.
Within formwork, Peri will showcase a range of developments, including the new generation of its Mamimo Panel Formwork.
Peri’s single-side operable wall formwork combines familiar benefits with new features that make construction site processes more user-friendly and sustainable. Within scaffolding, Peri UP Public will showcase how new components have been designed for safe and versatile public sector access.
The 2606 12.9-litre six-cylinder engine
Perkins
Hall/Stand: A4.336
As part of its promise to ‘deliver smarter solutions to advance sustainable power,’ the UK-based engine manufacturer will highlight its upcoming 2606 model in Germany. The 12.9-litre six-cylinder engine will replace the existing 15and 18-litre models due to its superior power output.
Also at Bauma, Perkins is set to show its recently-launched 904J engine. Available in 2.8and 3.6-litre variants this engine offers output levels ranging from 50-106kW. Assembled in Peterborough, UK and Wuxi, China, the 904J is said to have gone through about 160,000 hours of testing across more than 80 machine applications.
In addition, Perkins will be releasing more details about ‘Project Coeus’.
Sandvik
Hall/Stand: C2.149
Sandvik’s new Pantera DP1510i top hammer drill rig will be displayed at Bauma for its full launch with updated key components, as well as the Ranger DX810i.
In addition to various digital solutions for surface drilling, Sandvik will preview an upcoming rig in the form of a Commandoseries electric conversion – a prototype that will evolve into the company’s first commercial electric surface drill rig.
Among its latest rock tools, Sandvik will present the CT55 and CT67 curved thread top hammer tool systems, the Sandvik Alpha 340 and 360 drilling tools with Speedy bit for tunnelling.
Volvo CE will only have electric equipment on its stand at Bauma
SBM

SBM will present the latest models of its hybrid electrified track-mounted crushing plants, as well as efficient single machines that contribute to an increase in efficiency.
Launched two years ago, the Remax 600 track-mounted impact crusher has been successfully placed in key regions and across all major industries, according to SBM.
Also on display will be the Jawmax300 track-mounted jaw crusher with double-deck secondary screen.
The compact machine offers a flexible crushing and screening solution, applicable for inner-city recycling, local raw materials processing or stockpiled residual materials located in tight areas.
With the SMR 13/7/4 reversible impact crusher and the V8 vertical shaft impact crusher (VSI), SBM is presenting two individual machines in Munich that it says enable stationary plant operators to achieve higher added value.
Trackunit
Hall/Stand: A2.442
Trackunit will use Bauma to outline plans to accelerate its data technology offerings for the construction sector.
Visitors to the stand will get a first look at Trackunit Luna, a multi-AI agent that works with its IrisX operating platform to enable AIpowered automation and decision-making. A “significant upgrade” to Trackunit Manager will also be shown at Bauma. The new version introduces a streamlined navigation and faster access to key data.
Also on show will be its IrisX operating data platform, introduced in the second half of 2024, which connects data from sites, fleets, tools and attachments.
Volvo CE
Hall/Stand: C6.303
Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) has announced that it will only be displaying electric equipment on its stand. The OEM added that this would represent the ‘first-ever zero-emission-only lineup’ at Bauma Munich. At the show, the OEM has said that it will unveil a new electric machine that is designed for key industrial segments in construction. The equipment displayed will include the upgraded 23-ton EC230 Electric mid-size excavator and the newly launched electric wheeled loaders, the L120 Electric and L90 Electric. Also on display will be the new EWR150 Electric – the company’s first batterypowered wheeled excavator – and the EW240 Electric Material Handler grid-connected excavator.
Wacker Neuson
Hall/Stand: FN.916
Like many OEMs at Bauma there will be a focus by Wacker Neuson on expanding its range of battery powered machines, with new 1 and 2.6 tonne electric mini excavators set to join the company’s existing EZ17e model. The EZ10e and EZ26e excavators get a new battery system (which will also now be used on the EZ17e) and have been designed as electric machines from the ground up.
Also electric is a new wheeled loader, the WL300e, which will use the same battery system as on the existing WL20e and WL28e models. The 300e also uses a new naming system, with the 300 relating to the bucket volume (0.3m3 bucket volume).
In conventionally powered equipment, also new at the show will be three new compact wheel loaders, the WL750, WL950 and WL1150.
Wirtgen Group
Hall/Stand: FS.1110
On its 13,000m² stand will be eight production systems for a variety of applications in the areas of road construction, earthmoving and materials processing.
The OEM will display around 100 machines, 45 world premières and innovations and, for the first time in its Bauma history, nine live shows.
Wirtgen will be celebrating the first public appearance of its most powerful large milling machine, the W 250 XF, and the entire generation of new wheeled cold recyclers and soil stabilisers.
Wirtgen Group brand Vögele has expanded its Dash 5 generation in all performance classes, for example, with the first SUPER 1803-5X-Tier wheeled paver or the MT 30005 material feeder.
In addition to the new HD 10 – HD 12 G-Tier and HD 90 – HD 110 P-Tier tandem rollers, Hamm will present a range of further models for automated compaction, including the HC 130i C VA compactor.
